Question:    Did you know the correct spelling is dream, not draem?
Answer:      The 'a' and 'e' are intentionally reversed - it's the ancient Celtic version of dream.

Q
uestion:    I accidentally typed www.dreamgate.com instead of www.draemgate.com and it popped up an entirely different web site about something to do with dream research...?
Answer:      Unfortunately, this is very common mistake whilst typing the URL.   Please note that Draemgate is in no way associated with DreamGate.

Question:    The voice in the Who We Are section sounds strange... Who or what is it???
Answer:      It was created using speech synthesis. (In other words, it's computer generated and not a real human voice.)

Question:    You do realize you're using the Quake font, right?   (Quake is a video game by id Software.)
Answer:      This is a common misunderstanding, please note the differences below:

Question:    Where did the Draemgate logo come from?   dg_logo-small.gif (1070 bytes)
Answer:      It is an enhanced version of a crop circle photograph.  The color was enhanced, and a few special effects were applied, otherwise the design is left intact.

Question:    Where did all of these other strange symbols come from?? (Such as on the main page and on the navigation bar at the bottom of this page.)
Answer:      Most of the symbols used on this web site are of crop circles.

Q
uestion:    When will I be able to purchase the Twilight CD?
Answer:      March 25th, 2000 was the original official release date. However, the release of Twilight was delayed because of technical difficulties at the reproduction plant. It is now available for purchase! You can find directions for purchasing the CD in the merchandise section.

Q
uestion:    What kinds of instruments do you guys play?
Answer:      Unless you are referring to a computer keyboard, we do not use the usual types of musical instruments. The entire Twilight CD was composed using mathematical algorithms to convert images into audible sound. Keep in mind that we create experimental music, not "traditional" music.

Q
uestion:    What is this image-to-sound conversion and how does it work?? Isn't it the same as MetaSynth?
Answer:      The image-to-sound conversion process used for the Twilight album is not to be confused with a computer program called MetaSynth. MetaSynth uses pixel information in an image to represent volume/pitch/sustain/duration/etc. of a pre-existing sound that you've specified. In other words, it uses an image to determine how to play a sound. Our method is entirely different in that it uses an image to create a unique sound. It does this by using mathematical algorithms to convert each individual pixel into frequency modulation. If the picture is full of completely random colors, then the converted sound will be nothing more than static. Deep space images typically have a very smooth and ambient sound. However, what really matters is the end result; I invite you to listen to samples of the Twilight CD which can be found in the downloads section. Over a hundred images were used of crop circles, deep space nebulae, and other various designs and natural formations..

Q
uestion:    I want to know exactly how this conversion process works, will you tell me?
Answer:      Sorry, it's a "trade secret" that I'm not willing to give away that easily.

Question:    Where do you guys live?
Answer:      Robert lives in Tennessee, Matthew has moved to Minnesota.

Q
uestion:    You guys must be evil.. satanic!!
Answer:      No, we're not, sorry to disappoint you.. While we do have a Gothic / Celtic / Medieval / Fantasy type of artistic approach, this does not make us at all "evil."
